Gotta love a Free Sample

Who doesn't love a Free Sample of a High Quality Product?

My online browsing experience today worked a treat.

I have always loved the funky designs I have seen over the years created by MOO however I just have never got around to ordering any for myself. Yesterday I got as far as getting to their home page before I was distracted and taken away and forgot all about checking out their latest products and designs.

Today while working online a remarketing banner ad came up for MOO saying Order a MOO Sample pack for FREE. That is an ad that worked for me. I jumped right over and ordered the sample pack - which involves creating an account. So now begins their nurturing process of demonstrating their value while I wait for the sample pack to arrive.

Inspired

Delighted that I've finally found an international online community to remain up-to-date on the topic of online business. Plus is an affordable subscription for multiple websites. Yay! While this one I haven't yet moved over it has inspired me to create a blog 100% focused on reading, actioning and reviewing Business Books! I have been doing this as part of my own professional development for nearly 10 years. Who knows why I didn't think to do it earlier.

Well I have now. It is called Business Book Reviews - Go check it out here (remember it's brand new, therefore a work in progress).

Release the Brakes

Or you may prefer to say:

  • Step Out of your Comfort Zone
  • Get Yourself out of the way
  • Right Mindset
  • Remove obstacles
  • Overcome self-sabotage
Essentially changing behaviours. Easier said than done.

First step is Raise Awareness

Second step is Influence Attitudes and then

Final step is Change Behaviours.

As Einstein stated "The significant problems we face cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them".

Which step is relevant for you for your current goals(s)?

Success leaves Clues

Ended up having a day off from these posts, although I read the chapter, my day changed and therefore by the time I got to it at 8pm at night, I thought it would be of greater benefit if I posted and sent out this morning. So here it is - a shorty but a goodie -

Chapter 9 of The Success Principles book by Jack Canfield is all about being real and finding the education, knowledge and support to achieve your goals. There is no need to do it alone. Seek mentors that have already achieved what you wish too.

What knowledge or support can you seek for your major goals?

This is a step that many find challenging but it is oh so essential to success. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel. As Jack Canfield suggests using the process of Mind Mapping assists even the big picture thinkers to chunk their big goals down to smaller tasks right down to a daily to-do list.

Great, 'first things first' read the chapter from The Success Principles, download the free resources and take action.

Unleash the Power of Goal - Setting

I thought about taking a day off from my daily chapter reading and posts of Jack Canfield's book The Success Principles. But, when I woke again after a great night's sleep at 5am on the dot - I didn't get up but thought about going back to sleep or getting up... and after an hour of dozing and contemplating I decided I'm getting up - why? Because I'm excited and motivated to do this. This absolutely is for myself however if there is just one person that is inspired or motivated to go beyond thinking about the life they want to taking one daily action then that is more than worthwhile. Besides this cartoon got me laughing:

And you don't need to be a 'failure' or having a bad life to want to do this. This process is a continual journey because as you reach and achieve goals you reset them. Therefore rather than seeing this as a burden look at it as a lifestyle change.

Chapter 7 is a milestone because it now means I'm or we (for those along for the daily journey) are more than 10% through the book - Yay! And it just keeps getting interesting and this is from a person (me) that has been doing this kind of thing for decades!

Chapter 7 is Unleash the Power of Goal-Setting - and I agree this is nothing new however Jack Canfield does talk about the list of things you need to do such as (and I'm quoting directly from the book):

  • Make a list of goals you want to accomplish
  • Make sure they're measurable
  • Have goals for every aspect of your life vision
  • Have a breakthrough goal - carry it with you daily
  • List 101 goals you want to achieve before you die
This makes you the top 3% of the world's achievers

To be in the top 1% of achievers:

  • Write specific action steps on your daily to-do list
  • MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THOSE ACTIONS
That's it!

Phew - feeling daunted or motivated?

However, what he also shares are the top 3 things that emerge that stops people from achieving their goals. That I found interesting both personally and as a business mentor.

Grab the book and hear a summary from the author himself:
